IPAF Operator 3a 3b
This 1-3-day course instructs an operator to prepare and safely operate various Manlifts and MEWPs, including scissor lifts and boom lifts. A mix of theory and practical training,
this course is designed to enable operators to manoeuvre, drive and position the MEWPs safely and proficiently. Courses can be undertaken on scissor lifts, boom lifts, trailer mounted or
truck-mounted platforms.

IPAF Operator 3a
The Mobile Vertical 3a scissor lift and personnel platform operator course is a one-day training program that teaches operators how to prepare and safely operate these machines. The course is
a combination of theoretical and practical training, designed to equip operators with the necessary skills to manoeuvre, drive, and position the MEWPs (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms) safely
and effectively.

IPAF Demonstrator
This training course is designed for individuals who need to showcase their proficiency in operating and ensuring the safety of a Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) to a trained operator.
The program covers the same machine categories as the operator training program and is aimed at satisfying the high-demand requirements of the industry.

UAE Health & Safety – Safe Working Practices
Employers should provide adequate training throughout the UAE to allow employees to operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP)/Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) safely and competently.
UAE IPAF Training – Dubai
In Dubai, IPAF courses are regulated by the Dubai Municipality’s Occupational Health and Safety Department. The department sets standards for safe work practices in Dubai, including the use of powered access
equipment such as manlifts or mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs).
According to the technical guideline GU67 from Dubai Municipality, it is required that all operators of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) receive training that complies with the ISO18878 standard set
by IPAF.
It is important to note that the regulations for IPAF training courses in Dubai may change from time to time, and it is advisable to check for the most up-to-date information.

UAE IPAF Training – Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health System Framework (OSHAD) also requires Operators to be trained in their code of practice. OSHAD CoP 34.0 applies to all employers within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi
and establishes precise requirements and standards to assess risks associated with lifting equipment and lifting accessories.

This course includes a test paper on legal requirements and provides delegates with the skills to familiarise operators with their responsibilities and demonstrate safe operating procedures.
IPAF Training – PAL Powered Access Licence Cards and Logbooks
Upon successfully completing an IPAF course, you will receive an IPAF PAL (Powered Access License) ID card and an IPAF Operator’s log book to record the machines you operate.
