IPAF Operator 1a

This course spans 1-3 days and provides guidance for operators on the safe preparation and operation of various Manlifts and MEWPs, encompassing scissor lifts and boom lifts. Combining theoretical learning with hands-on training, the program equips operators to adeptly and securely handle, drive, and position MEWPs. The course covers a range of topics,

• Including identifying different MEWP types
• Safe operation practices
• Pre-use checks, route planning & maneuvering
• Setting up for work
• Basic operational techniques
• Assessment, fall arrest equipment usage

Upon completion, participants will: Possess thorough knowledge of Health & Safety regulations for accident prevention and control Understand the necessity and use of personal protective equipment, Demonstrate proficiency in maneuvering and safely driving the machinery Competently position and execute tasks in line with prescribed standards
